dc.description.abstractThe study sought to examine communication as a factor affecting effective strategy implementation in the banking industry in Kakamega County, Kenya. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. This research limited itself to four selected commercial banks in Kakamega County covering a sample of 25 respondents drawn from 85 employees of Kenya commercial bank, Equity Bank, Co-operative bank and National bank. Stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used. The study relied on primary data which was obtained through a structured questionnaire. Data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result of this study reveals that a relationship exists between communication and strategy implementation in the banking industry in Kakamega County, Kenya. The study recommends that managers should communicate with employees regularly to enhance strategy implementation.en_US
